Moving on to Secondary School
Boosting confidence and handling anxieties
Transitioning to Secondary School comes with challenges for children. It’s a period filled with uncertainty, and children often experience emotions like worry, fear, and anxiety, which can have a profound impact on their self-esteem and confidence. The main reasons behind these feelings are leaving behind old friends and teachers, the prospect of meeting new people who are older and bigger, concerns about bullying, the fear of getting lost in a larger school, and the added pressure of coping with more homework.
Prepare your child for success in their secondary school journey with our “Transition to Secondary” workshop. They will feel empowered to embrace the future with confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset.
This transformative workshop consists of three sessions of one hour each where children will explore and learn how to:
Face challenges with a positive outlook
Building new relationships
Boost their confidence
Build a positive self image
Develop assertiveness
Manage their emotions effectively
These are essential attributes that will pave the way for a smooth transition, allowing students to continue making academic progress to the best of their abilities while thoroughly enjoying their learning journey.
